• C’est avec grand plaisir qu'EFDS et le laboratoire GeePs vous invitent à participer au Solar Pumping Workshop 2020. La conférence sera dématérialisée et gratuite. Elle se déroulera en ligne du 9 au 12 Décembre 2020.
  
  Le travail interdisciplinaire de terrain réalisé sur la thématique du pompage solaire par notre communauté continue de porter ses fruits. Le Solar Pumping Workshop est l’occasion de donner la parole aux chercheurs, aux étudiants et aux entrepreneurs qui contribuent au développement soutenable de l’accès à l’eau potable des populations. Les interventions couvriront un large éventail de sujets,de l’optimisation socio-économique du dimensionnement des installations de pompage, à l’étude de l’impact du pompage sur la ressource en eau, en passant par la détection des nettoyages sur les panneaux solaires.
  
  En raison du contexte sanitaire, et pour faciliter la communication et les échanges, la conférence sera dématérialisée. Dans un premier temps, une diffusion des vidéos sur Youtube à partir du 9 décembre à 9h vous permettra de visionner l’ensemble des interventions (de 5’ ou 10’ chacune, sous-titres en français et en anglais). Ensuite, deux séances d’échange par visio-conférence seront organisées, afin de vous permettre de discuter avec les différents intervenants (1h chacune, discussion simultanée en français et en anglais).

• It is with great pleasure that EFDS and the GeePs laboratory invite you to participate in the Solar Pumping Workshop 2020. The conference will be online and free. It will take place from 9th to 12th December 2020.
  
  The interdisciplinary fieldwork on solar pumping carried out by our community continues. The Solar Pumping Workshop is an opportunity for researchers, students and entrepreneurs who work on sustainable development and water access to present their latest work. The talks will cover a wide range of subjects, from the socio-economic optimization of the sizing of solar pumps, to the study of the impact of pumping on the water resources and the detection of cleaning interventions on solar panels.
  
  Due to the health conditions and to facilitate discussions, the conference will be online. First, a release of the videos on Youtube on 9 December at 9am (Paris time) will allow you to watch all the presentations (5" or 10" each, subtitles both in French and English). Then, two video-conference discussion sessions will be organized, to allow you to discuss with the various speakers (1 hour each, discussion simultaneously in French and English).
